ABOUT US Pit Lane consists of 4 staff members, myself (Mick), my wife (Belinda), Matt (qualified mechanic) and our newest member Graeme who is a fully qualified mechanic and has over 25 years experience in the automotive industry. My workshop is not just about performance upgrades to your pride and joy, we also provide everyday servicing and repairs to all types of vehicles and our latest service available, Liquid and Vapour Injection LPG systems. Because of this we can also look after your car, long after you have modified it. We can even look after your runabout car, or even the girlfriend/wifes (or both) cars as well. Quite a few people who own XR6 Turbo's have already dealt with us for tuning or general servicing and can vouch for the cleanliness of my facilities and the attention to detail we provide. You can view my Dyno Sheets here. I have been in the trade for over 30 years and at one stage was the service manager for a holden dealership, so I have learnt the value of customer service. I started Pit lane 6 years ago after the frustrations of dealing with boss's that just didn't care about the final job, just getting paid by the customer. I've always had an interest in performance street cars and still have my 1970 big block (oldskool) fairlane, an FG super pursuit ute which has been converted to Liquid Gas Injection and will be modified and tuned shortly. I traded my BA pursuit ute in on the FG early in 2009 after we had achieved what we needed from it. With the way hoon laws are these days, I decided that tuning on the street was not really an option, so we purchased a new mainline dyno 3 years ago. We then bought a BA turbo for the wife and had a play with that. I also have attended all of the Nizpro tuning seminars and met a few of the other tuners from around Australia. Pit Lane is now a NPIA accredited member as well.
